On October 9, 2024, Jetr Global Sports + Entertainment, in partnership with the Embassy of Spain in Washington, DC, hosted our inaugural Sports Diplomacy Conference: The Role of Sports in Foreign Policy, Culture, and International Business. Bringing together some of the leading figures across professional sports, foreign affairs, and international business, the conference featured four panels discussing the promotion of equality and accessibility through sports, the internationalization of global professional sports, the next decade of mega-sports events in the United States, and the use of sports as foreign policy tool.
