Jetr Global Welcomes Ambika Ganesh, Expands USCIS Expertise in Immigration Practice

Jetr Global Sports + Entertainment today announced the addition of Ambika Ganesh to its immigration team. Ganesh joins Jetr Global following more than 12 years at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), most recently serving as an Appeals Officer at the Administrative Appeals Office, where she adjudicated a wide range of complex immigration petitions involving employment-based and humanitarian benefit
requests.

Over the course of her USCIS career, Ganesh developed deep expertise across a broad spectrum of immigration matters, from complex employment visa petitions involving extraordinary ability and national interest waivers to victim-based petitions and humanitarian parole. She also served as a supervisor overseeing congressional inquiries, working directly with leadership and stakeholders to resolve complicated cases. Throughout her federal service, she was recognized with numerous awards for analytical thinking and legal writing, and was actively involved in training and curriculum development.

Prior to her tenure at USCIS, Ganesh clerked for the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York and practiced employment law at firms in New York City and Washington, D.C. She holds a JD from Brooklyn Law School and a BA in English and Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, and is an active member of the DC Bar.
