Jetr Global to Support Federal Coordination for the 2027 Military World Games

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Jetr Global Sports + Entertainment today announced its partnership with the 8th CISM Military World Summer Games (MWG27), supporting federal coordination for one of the largest multinational military sporting events ever hosted in the United States. The Games will take place June 25 through July 4, 2027 across North and South Carolina, with Charlotte, North Carolina, serving as the primary host city.

“The 2027 Military World Games will sit at the intersection of global sport, defense, and diplomacy, representing a key moment in the current American Sports Decade,” said Travis Murphy, CEO of Jetr Global Sports + Entertainment. “Hosting thousands of military athletes from around the world on U.S. soil for the first time in the history of the Games requires disciplined interagency coordination, modernized mobility systems, and seamless engagement between federal agencies and foreign governments.”

MWG27 will bring together more than 10,000 military athletes from up to 143 eligible nations to compete in Olympic, military, and adaptive sports, with select events serving as qualification pathways for the LA28 Olympic Games. The 2027 Games represent a complex convergence of international relations, event coordination, and global logistics. Through its government engagement services, Jetr Global will support international protocol integration, streamlined immigration processes, and cross-agency coordination frameworks to ensure operational readiness and success.

“The 2027 Military World Games represent a historic moment for Charlotte, for our service members, and for the United States,” said Ike Belk, Co-Chair of the MWG27 Local Organizing Committee.

“This event will require extraordinary preparation across security, logistics, and international engagement. Jetr Global brings a unique understanding of federal agencies, diplomatic protocols, and global mobility that strengthens our ability to deliver a seamless experience for participating nations and the military athletes who will travel here to compete,” David Koerner, Co-Chair, said.

“At a time of complex geopolitical challenges, Jetr Global is proud to leverage our deep relationships across the federal government and foreign diplomatic missions to prioritize and execute this landmark event,” Murphy concluded. “MWG27 will not only demonstrate U.S. operational excellence and interagency coordination, but also serve as a platform to advocate for international cooperation and peace through sport.”

The 2027 Military World Games are organized in partnership with the International Military Sports Council (CISM) and the MWG27 Local Organizing Committee (LOC), based at the United States Performance Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.
